Ideal for bird watching or those interested in wildlife, the owls, woodpeckers buzzards, sparrows, finches and bats all nest in the vicinity (in the summer months swallows and swifts abound), while foxes, badgers, otters, moles and squirrels inhabit the wood and surrounding fields.
Perfect holiday accommodation for the Ramblers, a short walk through the woods takes you to the South West coastal footpath. For the more energetic visitors there are numerous sporting activities within easy reach.
Although it is only fifteen minutes by car to Penzance, away from the bright lights of the town the night sky can be stunning to behold and the wildlife make the loudest noises you are likely to hear. Dog friendly This detached, granite cottage was converted from a barn by the present owners and is just a few miles from the beautiful Lamorna Valley, next to a working farm.
Set in the rugged Penwith moorland, it is only half a mile away from the cove of St Loy and the coastal path. When staying at Little Trevedran between the months of May and October, the Owners, who live nearby, welcome you to use their outdoor heated pool. After your swim, Little Trevedran offers a warm and spacious retreat.
The living accommodation is on the ground floor and boasts a lovely Shaker-style kitchen and a spacious sitting-area warmed by a multi-burner. Stairs lead to a large landing area, the bedroom with a low vaulted ceiling (tall people beware) and a small washroom. Opposite the cottage is a small lawned area for guests’ sole use. (Although the property sleeps two, we can accommodate more if you supply the additional bedding, linen and towels.) Parents are warned to take care of toddlers on the tiled floors, and all children must be supervised by an adult in the pool.

First Floor: - large landing leading to bedroom with double bed (5') and separate WC and wash-basin.

This studio apartment consists of two rooms, which have tiled floors throughout. The large bed-sitting room has a colourful rug in the sitting area where there is an electric fire for extra cosiness in the cooler months. There is a fitted wardrobe and tallboy for storage. The adjoining shower/ WC is compact but functional.
The well equipped kitchen/diner is situated in the conservatory which also has an electric heater. This looks out over a private sitting area with table and chairs and a small lawned area for guests’ sole use
