Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival
FALMOUTH and ST MAWES – 13 June - 15 June
This festival allows the public the opportunity to enjoy this traditional nautical music and song. Various Shanty Groups from across the county will perform at venues along the waterfront.
Golowan Festival
PENZANCE – 22 June - 29 June
Golowan, the Feast of St. John, is Cornwall's greatest annual community arts festival, blending Celtic traditions of Penglaz and the Serpent Dance with a ten day programme of diverse festivities and entertainment.
Polperro Festival
POLPERRO – 21 June - 29 June
An annual event with celebrations and activities throughout the week including music, art, drama, morris dancing and more!
Stithians Agricultural Show
STITHIANS – 14 July
Stithians Show is one of the largest and oldest one day shows in the country. It is held annually in July and the attendance is in excess of 20,000 people each year.
Rip Curl Board Masters - World Championship Tour 2008

Henri-Lloyd Falmouth Week 2008

Internationally recognised sailing regatta complemented by lively shore-side entertainment.
West of England Steam Rally
ST AGNES – 15 August - 17 August
The Biggest and Best Steam Engine Rally in the West - over 200 steam engines expected. Tywarnhayle Farm, Chiverton Roundabout (first left turn from the roundabout on the B3277 St. Agnes Road).
Fowey Regatta
FOWEY – 17 August - 23 August
The Fowey Royal Regatta is hailed by many as one of the best local regattas in the country and is generally held over the third full week of August.
Cornwall Folk Festival 2008
WADEBRIDGE – 22 August - 25 August
Four nights and three days of the best traditional and contemporary folk music, song, dance and street entertainment set in the lovely riverside town of Wadebridge.
Bude Jazz Festival
BUDE – 23 August - 30 August
New Orleans comes to Cornwall as Bude hosts one of Britain's leading annual jazz festivals, packing 200 jazz events into eight days.
Newlyn Fish Festival
PENZANCE – 25 August
The Newlyn Fish Festival is a fundraising event for the Fishermen's Mission in Newlyn, part of the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen, attracting over 20,000 people each year.
Tall Ships Regatta
FALMOUTH – 10 September - 13 September
Falmouth will be the host port for the Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta. Ships open to the public from Wednesday to Friday.
Newquay Fish Festival 2008
