The St. Enodoc Hotel

A classic seaside hotel re-invented. That's the ethos behind St. Enodoc Hotel in Rock with its emphasis on comfort, design and great food. Positioned above the Camel estuary with sweeping views across the water, it is the perfect place to relax by the sea. Leave the car and walk the few minutes to surrounding sandy beaches and the foot-ferry to Padstow.

Award - winning chef Nathan Outlaw is in charge of food. There are two restaurants, the Nathan Outlaw Seafood and Grill and Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, awarded 2 Michelin Stars in January 2011 and currently named as Best Seafood Restaurant in the UK, by Good Food Guide.

Facilities include a secluded heated outdoor pool (May - September) a billiard room and a sauna. For those who prefer a little peace and quiet, they can enjoy the comfortable lounge and it's open fire or well stocked library, with books by authors including the late John Betjeman, who is buried nearby at the picturesque St. Enodoc Church.

Rock is well known for its sailing, waterskiing and golf. The outstanding St Enodoc Golf Club adjoins the hotel, and is one of the top 50 listed courses in the UK. The hotel also overlooks the scenic Camel Estuary and the fishing village of Padstow, home of TV chef Rick Stein's celebrated seafood restaurant

Some of the other nearby outdoor pursuits include some of the best surfing in Cornwall at Polzeath beach, biking the Camel River path, walking the varied coastline, exploring the sandy coves, sea fishing, or visiting legendary Tintagel, a short distance away.

The two restaurants are run by Nathan Outlaw and his team.
